Small size: 1 US 7/4.5mm circular needle, 24-inch length.
Large size: 1 US 9/5.5mm circular needle, 24-inch length or longer if necessary.

Gauge is given for after blocking. Exact gauge is not critical for this project.
Small size: 19 sts/30 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch on US 7/4.5mm needles.
Large size: 16 sts/26 rows = 4″ in stockinette stitch on US 9/5.5mm needles.
